i. Biography
Enrique Fonseca is a Mexican agave farmer, master distiller, and tequila producer associated with Tequileña (NOM 1146) in Tequila, Jalisco, and with Fuenteseca Reserva, a long-aged tequila line built around extended barrel aging. He is a fourth-generation agavero from Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco, and he helped pioneer extra-añejo tequila releases, including some of the oldest bottled tequilas in the category.
