Geisenheim oenological school gave Eva Fricke the technical base that underpins her work: structure, discipline, and the ability to read complexity without flattening it. Since 2011, she has been founder, owner, and general manager of Weingut Eva Fricke, which places her in direct control of the estate’s direction and decisions. That role has made the winery’s identity her own standards, with every choice filtered through a clear view of place, variety, and long-term intent. The result is a career built less on display than on consistency, with the Rheingau treated as a field for exacting work rather than easy consensus.

Today

Since 2011, Eva Fricke has served as founder, owner, and general manager of Weingut Eva Fricke, continuing to steer the estate from Eltville with the same discipline that defined its start. Riesling remains the anchor of the work, and in her hands it also becomes the clearest expression of the estate’s position within the Rheingau. The alignment is straightforward: region, grape, and producer all point in the same direction. From Eltville, she keeps that alignment intact, treating stewardship as a daily exercise in holding method and place together.

Eva's signature dishes include Eltville Collection, Rheingau Krone Trocken 2024, Lorchhäuser Seligmacher, Lorcher Schlossberg, and Lorcher Krone. Taken together, they read as a place-led set: specific, defined, and tied closely to the Rheingau. The list does not aim for breadth; it shows control through restraint, with each name carrying a clear geographic and stylistic marker.
