François Millet

François Millet served as winemaker and technical director at Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé in Chambolle-Musigny, Burgundy until his retirement after the 2017 vintage, overseeing more than 30 years of production including wines from Musigny and Les Amoureuses. Originally from the Jura region, he subsequently launched his own négociant project, Domaine François Millet & Fils, in Chambolle-Musigny, producing limited-edition Pinot Noir from sourced grapes in appellations such as Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, Marsannay, Volnay, and Braune 1er Cru, working alongside his two sons. His winemaking emphasizes purity, precision, 100% destemming for reds, and extended lees aging without new oak.
