Frédéric Giachino

Frédéric Giachino is a Savoie winemaker associated with Domaine Giachino in Chapareillan, in the Chartreuse foothills near Mont Granier. He took over 1.5 hectares of his grandfather Marius Genton’s mixed farm in 1988 after training in Beaune, and the domaine later expanded into a multi-hectare estate focused on organic and biodynamic viticulture. The estate’s wines center on local Savoie grapes such as Jacquère, Mondeuse, Altesse, and Persan, and the business is now run with his brother David and, in some references, son Clément.
