The Work Today

Today, Georgiadis’ language on gin stays close to the mechanics of making it. “We really pack our gins full of botanical oils.” The line is blunt, but it describes a method that aims for density, aroma and impact rather than moderation. He describes juniper with the same technical focus: “We distil it in three ways to give more depth and complexity to the juniper.” That is a production decision expressed in trade terms, with layering and structure doing the work. The result is a distillery position built on clarity and function, where innovation is tied to the target use of the spirit. In George Georgiadis’ case, the standard is not ornament for its own sake, but gin that keeps its shape in mixed drinks and reads with enough force to be useful.
