George H. Lang

George Lang (born György Deutsch) was a Hungarian-born American restaurateur, food and travel writer, critic, and journalist. He became best known for reviving New York’s Café des Artistes in 1976 and for his work with Budapest’s Gundel restaurant, leaving a major mark on modern hospitality in New York and Hungary. He also wrote about food and travel.
