Gérald Passédat, born March 24, 1960, in Marseille, is a French chef and proprietor of Le Petit Nice, a restaurant in his native city. He trained at the École Hôtelière de Nice, Le Coq Hardi à Bougival, Le Bristol and Le Crillon in Paris, and under chefs Troisgros and Michel Guérard before joining his father's restaurant in 1985, assuming full direction in 2000.
