Germán González Gorrochotegui

Germán González Gorrochotegui is a Mexican master tequilero and founder of Tears of Llorona and T1 Tequila, known for carrying forward his family’s tequila legacy from Mexico City. He trained hands-on in tequila making at his family’s distillery, working through agave fields, laboratory work, and distillation under his father Guillermo González Díaz Lombardo, creator of Chinaco. His Tears of Llorona extra añejo is made with a five-year maturation across Scotch, sherry, and brandy casks and is distributed in select markets.
