    i. Biography

    Gianni Zonin is an Italian wine entrepreneur from Gambellara, born, who joined the family company Casa Vinicola Zonin in 1957 and became president in 1967 at age 29. He led the expansion of the Zonin wine group across multiple Italian wine regions and later helped establish Barboursville Winery in Virginia in 1976, extending the family’s wine business into the United States. He also served as chairman of Banca Popolare di Vicenza from 1996 to 2015.
