The partnership at Corte Fusia began in 2010, when Gigi Nembrini and Daniele, friends since childhood, came back together after various studies and chose to start their own project. That decision marked both a return and a break: a return to shared intent, and a break from working under other people’s standards. The result is a house built on private discipline, with friendship and conviction carried into the structure of the work.

The Work Today

The working rule is plain: “The utmost respect and limited invasiveness, in the vineyard and in the cellar.” In practice, that puts emphasis on restraint as a method, not a slogan. Corte Fusia’s wines are made in a way that keeps intervention limited and the underlying material audible, with the vineyard and cellar treated as sites for careful observation rather than force. The style lands in measured, exact terms.

Signature

The signature wines — Franciacorta Brut, Franciacorta Satèn, Franciacorta Rosé, Franciacorta Zero, and Franciacorta Riserva Orfano Terre Rosse 2014 — show the range Nembrini works within while staying inside the same regional frame. Read together, they map a set of different expressions from the same source: Brut for a more direct line, Satèn for a softer texture, Rosé for a more open register, Zero for tautness, and Franciacorta Riserva Orfano Terre Rosse 2014 for a slower, more considered statement.
