Greg Freeman

Greg Freeman is a native Texan winemaker with two decades of Monterey County winemaking experience. He began his formal wine career at Hahn in 2003 after working in restaurant and bar roles in New Orleans, then went on to make wine for multiple brands including Hahn Winery, Lucienne, Smith & Hook, Boneshaker, Cycles Gladiator, Rex Goliath, and Huntington. He later served as winemaker for Georis/Cowgirl Winery in Carmel Valley and Messina Hof Winery in Bryan, Texas before joining Chalone Vineyard in 2021 as winemaker.
