i. Biography
Guilhem Grosperrin is the managing director and cellar master of Cognacs Grosperrin, an independent family house based in Saintes, Charente-Maritime. He took over the company in 2004 after his father Jean Grosperrin, the house’s founder, retired or fell ill, and has since focused on rare, single-cask and vintage cognacs that emphasize Charente heritage and terroir. The house is associated with Saintes and the Port La Rousselle / rue de Courbiac site in Saintes.
