Margaux wines from the estate are made under Henri Lurton’s direction, with the work centered on detail rather than speed. The method he describes rejects efficiency for its own sake and asks instead for closer reading of the vineyard, then careful shaping in the cellar. As he puts it, the aim is to be ever more precise and in tune with terroir. That is a practical standard: less force, more attention, and a constant adjustment to what the land gives.
