Isaac McHale is the Chef Patron of The Clove Club in Shoreditch, London, which he co-founded in 2013 after six years at The Ledbury where he rose to Development Chef during its attainment of two Michelin stars. Born in Orkney and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, he began cooking young, working at a fishmonger at 14 and in Glasgow kitchens before stages at Noma, Marque in Sydney, and De Wulf, and involvement with the Young Turks collective. The Clove Club earned one Michelin star in 2014, a second in 2022, and ranked 26th on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list in 2016.
