i. Biography
Isabelle Dutartre is a Paris-born French winemaker who studied enology at the University of Burgundy and began her career at Maison Joseph Drouhin in Beaune, later working in Oregon with Domaine Drouhin Oregon and De Ponte Cellars. She has been the head winemaker at De Ponte Cellars since its first vintage in 2001 and has also produced wines under her 1789 label since 2007.
