i. Biography
Ivan Barros is a Miami-born chef who, after working in kitchens in New York, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Italy, returned to Miami in late 2023 as executive chef at Amara at Paraiso in Edgewater. He later became co-owner and executive chef of Magie Wine Bar in Miami’s Little River and Coconut Grove neighborhoods, and he won Season 2 of Food Network’s Ciao House. He was recognized as a 2025 StarChefs Miami Rising Star.
