J. T. S. Brown was a master distiller and blender based in Louisville. He founded J. T. S. Brown and Sons, where he served as blender from 1855 to 1905. Earlier in his career, he co-founded J. T. S. Brown and Bro. working as a whiskey merchant from 1863 to 1874.
