Jamie Brown-Soukaseume is the executive chef and co-owner of Ahan, a Lao- and Southeast Asian-inspired restaurant in Madison, Wisconsin, where the restaurant’s current home is on Williamson Street. A graduate of the Madison College Culinary Arts Program, she has been a professional chef in Madison since 2011 and was a James Beard Award semifinalist in the Emerging Chef category in 2023. In 2025, Jamie and Chuckie Brown-Soukaseume were longlisted for James Beard Best Chef: Midwest recognition.
