Jared Brandt is the founding winemaker and co-owner of Donkey & Goat, the Berkeley, California urban winery he co-founded in 2003 with Tracey Brandt. The winery’s official history says he trained in France under Rhône vigneron Éric Texier and helped establish Donkey & Goat as an early force in the U.S. natural wine movement.
