i. Biography
Javier Hernández is a Málaga-born chef and the cook behind Restaurante El Candado Golf in Málaga, Spain. He trained at La Cónsula’s first culinary class in 1994 and has built his career in Málaga restaurants, later making Candado Golf his personal project. His restaurant has been recognized for traditional renewed cooking, and its ensaladilla was awarded best in Spain in 2019.
