Jay Sanders

Jay Sanders is a performer whose work has moved steadily across stage, film, television, and narration, with the same underlying disciplines of timing, listening, control, and presence carrying through each format. His early credits trace that range from an off-Broadway debut performer turn in the Shakespeare in the Park production of Henry V to Sam Shepard's Buried Child in New York, where he played Bradley, followed by Broadway work in Loose Ends.

He then expanded into film with Starting Over and Cross Creek, and into television with Crime Story, where he played Steven Kordo. His screen work continued with Tucker: The Man and His Dream, Glory, Mr. Destiny, JFK, Roseanne, Hostages, Angels in the Outfield, The Big Green, Music of the Heart, and Tumbleweeds, while his stage work also included Saint Joan.
