i. Biography
Jean-Louis Trapet is the winemaker and head of Domaine Trapet Père et Fils in Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy, where he joined his father in 1986 and took over winemaking with his first solo cuvée in 1990. The family estate, founded, is known for Grand Cru holdings in Chambertin, Chapelle-Chambertin, and Latricières-Chambertin, and under his direction the domaine has been farmed biodynamically since the 1990s.
