i. Biography
Jean-Luc Tartarin was a French chef and restaurateur based in Le Havre, where he founded and led the restaurant Jean-Luc Tartarin at 73 avenue Foch with his wife Annabelle beginning in 2008. The restaurant earned two Michelin stars, with the first awarded and the second, and Gault&Millau described him as a major figure of Norman gastronomy. He died in Le Havre on 14 May 2025 at the age of 59.
