i. Biography
Jean-Paul Abadie is a French chef born in Lannemezan, Hautes-Pyrénées, who founded L'Amphitryon in Lorient in March 1985 and built it into a two-Michelin-star restaurant. He was named Gault et Millau Cuisinier de l'Année and retired from the restaurant at the end of 2017.
