i. Biography
Jean-Philippe Painturaud is a co-owner and family member at Maison Painturaud Frères in Segonzac, in Cognac’s Grande Champagne cru, where he says he oversees the domaine, vineyards, and distillation. The house traces its commercial cognac production back to 1934, and Jean-Philippe is part of the 4th generation running the domaine with his brother Emmanuel and other siblings. He also has a parallel vineyard services business and was a volunteer organizer, including a 15-year presidency, for the Fête du Cognac.
