Jean-Claude Jambon is a French sommelier from the Beaujolais area who became sommelier at Restaurant Faugeron in Paris in 1977. He was named Best Sommelier of the World in 1986 in Venice and is also listed as the 1974 Best Sommelier of France and 1978 runner-up at the World Sommelier competition in Lisbon.
