Joanie Metivier is Head Sommelier and Beverage Director at Manoir Hovey. The work sits at the intersection of wine, whisky, and service: reading terroir, carrying a producer’s story without overplaying it, and shaping the guest experience around context as much as the glass. As Metivier has said, “I believe just tasting a bottle is not enough to understand the winery as a whole, its history, and philosophy.”
