John E. Rempe

John E. Rempe is the Master Distiller and Master Blender at Lux Row Distillers in Bardstown, Kentucky, where he oversees the creation of the Blood Oath bourbon series and other brands in the Luxco portfolio. He is a certified food scientist with a bachelor’s degree in biology from St. Louis University and more than 25 years of experience in spirits distillation and blending. He has been associated with Blood Oath since its launch in 2014 or 2015, depending on the source, and has also been involved in developing and overseeing Luxco’s bourbon brands including Rebel, Ezra Brooks, David Nicholson, and Daviess County.
