Johnny Curiel is a Mexico-born chef and the chef-owner of Alma Fonda Fina in Denver’s LoHi neighborhood, where he opened his first solo restaurant in December 2023. Alma Fonda Fina earned a MICHELIN Star in 2024 and retained it in 2025, and Curiel received the MICHELIN Guide Colorado Young Chef Award in 2024. He is also identified in current restaurant materials as the chef behind the Alma Fonda Fina brand, with the restaurant dedicated to sharing Mexican culture through food.
