Julie Johnson’s early training at Bowdoin College led into founding roles that shaped her work in wine: first at Frog's Leap Winery from 1981, then at Women for Wine Sense from 1990. Those foundations sit behind the later move to Tres Sabores Winery, where she has worked as founder, owner, and winemaker since 1999.

Where They Are Now

Place and bottle are the clearest markers of the work. The wines associated with her craft include Farina Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc and Guarino Vineyard Petite Sirah. The 2017 Rosé is another specific work tied to her name, with its vintage carried plainly in the title.
