Jun Imagawa (今川純)

Jun Imagawa (今川純) is the 11th-generation tōji of Towa Shuzō in Fukuchiyama, Kyoto, where she helped revive self-brewing after a 33-year hiatus. She joined the brewery’s production team in 2008, resumed in-house brewing in 2011, and was recognized in 2018 as the first woman certified as a Tamba tōji. Her representative sake includes Rokkan (六歓), made with locally grown sake rice from the Muto area.
