At Beam Suntory, Kathleen Dibenedetto’s 1991 start became a long run in brand stewardship: learning how to shape luxury spirits with consistency, pressure, and a clear sense of category position. The path moved through brand manager posts on Knob Creek, Basil Hayden’s, Baker’s, and Booker’s; then on to Group Product Director for Super Premium Brands; then into sales and Marketing Integration and Brand Education. Taken together, those roles show a career built around keeping premium brands legible, disciplined, and distinct.

Today

Since 2024, Kathleen Dibenedetto has served as Senior Director, Brand Mastery at Suntory Global Spirits, a role centered on defining and refining brand expression from the inside out. From 2021 to 2025, she held Senior Director, Premium+ Portfolio and Luxury Marketing at Beam Suntory, working where premium positioning meets luxury storytelling. In 2018, Booker’s Bourbon issued Booker’s Batch 2018-01, Kathleen’s Batch, the first batch in that year’s collection and a release dedicated to her. The gesture placed her name directly on the product, marking the kind of recognition that comes when brand work becomes part of the brand itself.

In Their Words “Back in 1996, I was hand-picked to lead a new marketing portfolio—a set of luxury brands that represented the best in each of their respective categories.” That line reads like someone speaking from inside portfolio management, where the work is less about flourish than about placing each label in the right frame and keeping the standard intact. On flavor, the point of view is equally direct. “Tequila fascinates me. Its taste is unlike any other spirit in the world—rich and herbaceous but at the same time floral with notes of citrus.” The note is specific to structure and balance: richness, herbs, florality, citrus, all held together in a way that rewards close attention.
