Kevin Ng trained at Cilantro Culinary Academy in Malaysia, then cooked in the US Virgin Islands, Dubai, and the Maldives. He was head chef of Communal Table by gēn in Penang, the sharing-plate room Johnson Wong ran beside gēn. The restaurant's current team page lists Jeremy Tan as head chef.
