Linda Milagros Violago is the wine director at Canlis in Seattle, where she became the first woman to lead the restaurant’s wine program in its 70-year history. She is a first-generation Filipina-Canadian born in Winnipeg and has worked in hospitality, food, and wine across 13 countries, including stints at Charlie Trotter’s, Mugaritz, Geranium, and Catbird Seat.
