Luís Lopes is the winemaker and consultant for Domínio do Açor in the Dão. Winery and trade sources also connect him to earlier work in the Dão at Quinta da Pellada, António Madeira, Quinta das Marias, and Quinta da Lomba (Niepoort), and note that he studied enology at UTAD before further training in Burgundy.
