Training at HLF Krems gave Krenn the first structure for his work, and it was there that wine became a serious field of study. He then took the Jungsommelier course in Krems as an early, deliberate step into the profession, followed by Sommelier Austria training to strengthen both knowledge and execution. The sequence of service roles that followed sharpened the craft from different angles. Krenn worked as sommelier at Burg Vital Resort in Lech am Arlberg until 2015, a post that demanded precision in service and cellar work. New Zealand added another register: at The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs, he served as Restaurant Supervisor and also worked as Chef de Rang. He later joined Heurigenhof Bründlmayer in Langenlois, continuing to build range in wine and service. Since 2015, Krenn has held dual responsibility as host and sommelier at Wirtshausbrennerei Krenn, while also serving as right hand and deputy in the wine archive of Palais Coburg Weinarchiv. The pairing matters: one side is immediate hospitality in Yspertal, the other is the discipline of working inside wine memory in Vienna.

The present work at Wirtshausbrennerei Krenn brings Krenn’s service training, wine knowledge, and composure into one room. His earlier role as sommelier at Burg Vital Resort in Lech am Arlberg ran until 2015, while his position as right hand and deputy in the wine archive at Palais Coburg Weinarchiv in Vienna has continued since 2015.
