Mano Thevar is the chef-owner of Thevar, a modern Indian restaurant that opened in Singapore in 2019 and later moved to 16 Mohamed Sultan Road. He was born and raised in Penang, Malaysia, and his cooking blends Indian and South Asian flavors with European techniques and premium Japanese produce. His restaurant earned its first Michelin star in 2021 and its second in 2022, making it the first two-Michelin-starred restaurant run by a Malaysian chef.
