Margarita Forés

Margarita Araneta Forés was a Filipino chef and restaurateur who opened Cibo in 1997 after training in Italy and later expanded into restaurants including Lusso and Grace Park. She was named Asia’s Best Female Chef and was recognized for popularizing Italian cuisine in the Philippines through her restaurants and catering work. She died in Hong Kong on February 11, 2025.
