i. Biography
Margarita Kallas-Lee is a Latvian-born pastry chef and restaurateur who co-owns Scratch Restaurants Group with Phillip Frankland Lee. She moved to the United States as a teenager, worked as a model and catered events in Los Angeles, and entered professional kitchens in 2011 as pastry chef at D'Cache in Toluca Lake. She later helped open Scratch|Bar & Kitchen in Beverly Hills in 2013 and now oversees the pastry program across the group, including Sushi by Scratch Restaurants and Pasta|Bar.
