Marie-Helen Krebs is the head sommelier and wine director at Restaurant IKIGAI at Schloss Elmau in Krün, Germany, where she has worked since 2007 and is responsible for the restaurant’s wine program and pairings with Christoph Rainer’s cuisine. She was recognized with the Michelin Sommelier Award, becoming the first woman in Germany to receive Michelin’s Sommelier of the Year distinction. the VDP also honored her wine concept at Schloss Elmau as an outstanding wine concept.
