Marimar Torres

Marimar Torres is the founder and owner of Marimar Estate Vineyards & Winery in Sebastopol, Sonoma County, where she directs activities at the winery and its Don Miguel and Doña Margarita vineyards. Born in 1945 in Barcelona, Spain, she is a fourth-generation member of the Torres winemaking family and established Marimar Estate after planting Don Miguel Vineyard in 1986 and opening the winery in 1992. Her estate is known for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, along with Spanish varieties such as Albariño, Godello, and Tempranillo grown in Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast sites.
