Mario Tricoci

Mario Tricoci is an Italian-born hairstylist and salon entrepreneur who began his American career in Chicago in 1960 and opened his first salon in Villa Park, Illinois, in 1963. He later expanded to Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg in 1977, opened Mario Tricoci Hair Salon & Day Spa in Arlington Heights in 1986, and in 2004 founded Tricoci University of Beauty Culture. After the brand’s 2001 merger with Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas, he and his partners bought back the branded salons and spas in 2018, and he continues to be associated with the Tricoci salon and spa brand.
