Max Wo (鄔海明), also identified in English-language coverage as Wo Hoi-ming, is the Chinese Culinary Director at Regent Taipei’s Silks House in Taipei and a veteran Cantonese chef with more than three decades of experience. Coverage on Silks House says he took the helm in 2019 after working at Hong Kong’s Lei Garden, and later reporting credits him with leading the restaurant to major regional recognition, including a Michelin star and a place on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants extended list.
