Melinda Joe

Melinda Joe is an American journalist based in Tokyo who specializes in food and drinks, with a focus on Japanese wine and sake. She writes the Kanpai Culture column for The Japan Times, has covered restaurants in Asia for The Wall Street Journal, and has served as Tokyo ambassador for Star Wine List. She is also a certified wine and sake professional and has judged at London’s International Wine Challenge since 2012.
