i. Biography
Michael Madrigale is a New York-based wine professional and former restaurant sommelier who spent years as head sommelier and wine director for Daniel Boulud’s group in Manhattan, including Bar Boulud, Boulud Sud, and Épicerie Boulud. He later moved into auction and rare-wine work as a New York-based consignment director/director of rare wine at Heritage Auctions. He is widely credited with building a James Beard Award-finalist wine program at Bar Boulud/Boulud Sud and is known for his deep auction-buying and blind-tasting expertise.
