Micol Bonora

Early Years

The starting point is 2016, the year CorteDomina was born from the wine-driven commitment of Micol and her family. The origin sets the size and shape of the work: this is a family-rooted venture, not a broad anonymous production.

Making a Name

Rather than describing the range in general terms, the most concrete examples come from the 2016 harvest, where bottle counts were part of the identity of the releases. Profumo di Gioia rosato IGT Toscana came from that harvest in about 2,500 numbered bottles. In Bonora’s line, "There is care and passion from all of us!" — a plain statement that fits the family origin and the numbered nature of the wines.

The Present

Bonora is owner of CorteDomina and founder and owner of Tenuta CorteDomina, both in Radda in Chianti, Italy. Her present work continues through rosé and red wines based on Sangiovese or Merlot, with limited production remaining the defining specialty. The 2016 birth, the family involvement, the grape choices, and the numbered bottles all point to the same through-line: a small-scale wine project in Chianti territory shaped by clear limits and named releases.
