Motokazu Nakamura

Motokazu Nakamura is the sixth-generation head chef and owner of Isshisoden Nakamura (一子相伝 なかむら), a long-running kaiseki restaurant in Kyoto. The official site describes him as the restaurant’s owner, and Michelin identifies him as the sixth-generation chef who took over the reins and leads the three-Michelin-starred restaurant in Kyoto. Sources also note that he trained at Tenryu-ji Temple before taking over the family restaurant and that he has led it for decades while retaining three Michelin stars since 2011.
