i. Biography
Nils Ģēvele is the head chef of FERMA restaurant in Riga. Latvian Nils Ģēvele is the restaurant’s chief chef and note that he represented Latvia in Bocuse d’Or, becoming the first Latvian chef to reach the competition final. In 2023 he received the Michelin Young Chef Award, and earlier coverage also cites him as the 2022 Latvian Chef of the Year.
