i. Biography
Ntsiki Biyela is a South African winemaker who founded Aslina Wines in 2016, naming it for her grandmother. She graduated from Stellenbosch University with a BSc in Agriculture (Viticulture and Oenology) and joined the boutique winery Stellekaya in 2004, where she became the first Black woman winemaker in South Africa. She also sits on the board of the Pinotage Youth Development Academy.
