Since 2021, the work around Destilería Kalmar has been shaped by socio fundador Pablo Apodaca, with the role anchored in the distillery’s day-to-day development in Mar del Plata, Argentina.

Signature

Among the distillery’s defining labels are Kalmar gin and Land of Fire, both tied to Pablo Apodaca’s output at Destilería Kalmar.

In Their Words “Our idea was not only to develop our own products, but to make the distillery a union of different distillers and to do it collaboratively.” That approach has also been measured in scale: “We are very happy to have achieved, in such a short time, such very large growth in the industry.”

Honors

Recognition for Pablo Apodaca’s work includes a London competition gold medal, New York International Spirits Competition Distillery of the Year, New York International Spirits Competition Best Gin, plus London competition bronze and silver medals.
